Is there a citation for the cartridge tilt sensor containing mercury? It's supposed to use a solid-state piezo sensor and I'm having trouble finding piezo sensors which contain any mercury. In fact, I'm having trouble finding any official statement explaining the launch delay.

I'm removing this until I see a citation. I cannot understand why any piezoelectric gyro would contain mercury, and until then I can only assume that the "popular opinion" is only due to a misguided concept of how these things work (perhaps suggested by a mercury thermostat). It's not something that we should repeat without evidence as mercury is rather dangerous. 63.241.207.195 20:45, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

It's completely unlikely anyway as producing the cart would involve manoeuvring around laws and such that prevent children from having access to such things. --Thaddius 18:29, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Special Appearances

There is an appearance of the magical music box he is trapped in during Wario Land 3. It appears in the training level at Wario's house. It's first seen while the mouse is walking through the inside of Wario's house (after passing the motorcycle). It is seen on top of a cupboard with Wario's laptop (the room also features the clock in the Speed Spin levels).

There is also a special appearance of a picture from (what I think is) Wario Land 4 in the room mentioned above. It is hanging on the right of the screen, and has part of a pyramid in it.

There may also be Wario's radio from the original game, but I'm not sure.

If it was never released in Europe, why is there a European box? Unless is was a pre-released image, and not an actual box. In that case, suggestions of European release should be removed since seriously...the GBA is dead.—Ｌｏｖｅはドコ？ (talk • contribs) 16:52, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

You're mixing things up. The game was never released in Europe, and there's no European box; it's a PAL box from Australia. The Australian release date seems to be missing in the article, but it was definitely released over there according to Mobygames and various sites. Kariteh 16:56, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

The game was all lined up to be released on two occasions. Press releases and boxart went out to the press and retail, but the game never actually reached the shelves. It is ridiculously unlikely now I agree, but Nintendo's official line (as stated in the article) remains that it is undergoing testing for release in Europe. U-Mos (talk) 14:02, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
