Walter Ramsden Fawkes (2 March 1769 – 24 October 1825), M.P. and High Sheriff of Yorkshire, was a writer and patron of the landscape painter J.M.W. Turner. Their friendship made Turner a regular visitor to Fawkes' home at Farnley Hall, two miles from Otley, near Leeds, West Yorkshire.
