Walsh Park "The Sports field" (Páirc Breathnach in Gaelic) is a Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Waterford, Ireland. It is the home of the Waterford Gaelic football and hurling teams. The ground currently has a capacity of about 17,000. In 2005 it was announced that almost €4 million is to be spent upgrading the venue.
Plans for the scheme, including the installation of an all-weather surface, concreting the terraces and possibly building a second stand will be financed by the government, with substantial support also from the Central and Munster Council , but the association locally will have to raise an as yet unspecified portion of the cost. The new capacity of the ground will be 25,000.
