[edit] Slovenian? Ukrainian?

The text of the article states that Mr. Ostanek is of Slovenian descent (which is what I always thought). But the article also puts him in the category of Ukrainian Canadians. I can't find anything that substantiates this. I see that he plays at a lot of Ukrainian functions, but then he's the Polka King. Can someone provide a source for Ukrainian heritage? ... discospinster talk 17:05, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

OK, I'm going to go ahead and remove the Ukrainian category. If anyone has any sources for it, please re-add it. ... discospinster talk 13:13, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] pronunciation

whoever added the pronunciation gave a stress pattern that is impossible to pronounce in English, so I left it off. (They marked the second syllable, but I think they might have meant the first.) kwami 05:31, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

I have removed the pronunciation altogether as there was no source. I don't know how it is pronounced in English, but in Slovene it is most probably (IPA[oːst'anɛk]). --Eleassar my talk 12:08, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
