Perhaps someone in Walter Freeman's lab can do a proper job here. he really deserves a good article

The result of the proposal was - move.
Walter J. Freeman → Walter J. Freeman (author) — This page is currently titled Walter J. Freeman, distinguishing it from the article on Walter Freeman, the inventor of the transorbital lobotomy. However, confusion occurs because the middle name of the other Walter Freeman is Jackson, and he too is correctly referred to as “Walter J. Freeman”. I know it is customary to use common names, but because neither the name “Walter Freeman” or “Walter J. Freeman” is used exclusively by one or the other, it would seem inappropriate to distinguish them by using a name that they share.
Interestingly enough, I would even propose a move to Walter Freeman (neurobiologist) or Walter J. Freeman (neurobiologist), but the other Walter Freeman was a neurologist, so the similarity might make such a move pointless.
So yeah, what I’m proposing is moving Walter J. Freeman to Walter J. Freeman (author), because this seems to be the key difference, then changing Walter J. Freeman to a disambiguation page, distinguishing the two.
This is quite an odd occurrence, isn’t it, two people with the same name working in a similar field of science? It’s kind of like the two drummers named Roger Taylor… —Calgary (talk) 23:28, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
