The station is currently owned by Gillen Broadcasting Corporation and features programing from Radio Disney.[1]. This Radio Disney station is one of the few not owned by the Walt Disney Company.

The station went on the air as WMGI on 1982-11-15. On 1986-08-11, the station changed it's call sign to WDVH. On 1988-04-01 to the current WAJD.[2]
