300,000 looks like a typing error. Looks impossible for that remote place. German wikipedia gives 15,000 (and they give for other places the census figures). The others copy en:wiki. Whole of Northern state has 600,000. --Kipala 21:10, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Coordinates verification?

Can I have someone find the correct coordinates for this place? This [1] shows the coordinates given to be on the east side of Lake Nasser, while the dot on the map shows it so be on the west side. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sseballos (talk • contribs) 00:44, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
