Willis Harmon Ray is an American chemical engineer and a Vilas Research Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
He is a Fellow of American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a member of the National Academy of Engineering. Ray is a noted control theorist, and in 2000, he received the Richard E. Bellman Control Heritage Award from the American Automatic Control Council.
