W.T. Pfefferle was born in 1958, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, but was relocated with his family and 2 older siblings to Alexandria, Louisiana while still a baby. His parents (Bob and Samantha) ran a bar in Alexandria called The Crystal Whip.
