[edit] Merge with Kingdom of Württemberg?

This article needs to be merged with the article Kingdom of Württemberg because they both cover the same material and time period - until 1918. Both are fair to good articles and would be a very good article if merged.--TGC55 (talk) 02:12, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

As it is now, a merger would make sense, but then it wouldn't correctly explain the full history of the state. For a different example, see Baden. The major problem with the Württemberg article at the moment is that it needs to be corrected to show that Württemberg as a state existed before 1806 and until 1945 instead of ending in 1918.

Instead of merging, I suggest that both articles be expanded. The major German wiki articles for Württemberg are all Exzellent (the de-wiki version of FA):
