Virtual Trespassing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Virtual trespassing is a mix between geotagging and blogging. An internet user can place a geotag as an advertisement, a link, or a title. Other viewers can see this location when searching through on-line mapping system.
Virtual Trespassing begins when a user leaves a comment or post as a message about that location. Most virtual trespassing involves link pumping, a method in which someone generates traffic for their web site.
