He, incidentally, did not distinguish between Hungarian folk music and gypsy music.
- In this agreeing with several modern scholars (not necessarily anti-Romani ones, but certainly ones against linguistic sideslips. Still a matter of dispute, at least; kicked up a firestorm when Liszt originally printed his book (first edition, the one without Sayn-Wittgenstein's anti-Semitic "emendations") and still does.
