Veli Lampi (born 18 July 1984) is a footballer from Finland who currently plays as Defender for FC Zürich in the Swiss Super League. He joined FC Zürich in January 2007. He was part of the 2006-07 Swiss Championship winning team. Before he played for HJK Helsinki and Vaasan Palloseura in the Finnish Veikkausliiga. He bares a resembalance to The Hives singer, Howlin' Pelle Almqvist.
