I don't understand the fourth paragraph of the article as it stands at present:

"This series was generally made on location, and recorded entirely on film by Thames' subsidiary, Euston Films (perhaps best known for dramas such as The Sweeney and Minder), giving the programmes a consistently gritty feel. Like the earlier series, this series was recorded on 2" Ampex quadruplex videotape, with location shooting done on 16mm film."

Was it recorded "entirely on film" or both on videotape and film? jamesgibbon 20:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

.. I do think by the way that there's possibly too much emphasis on the recording medium, rather than the themes, writing, performances and so on .. but it's probably better to shift the balance by adding more about the latter elements than by removing information about the former. jamesgibbon 20:19, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
