Talk:Vampire types

I have edited the article; I think it is more in the style of an encyclopedia entry in its current form. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ben09387 (talk • contribs) 14:25, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
Tag for deletion posted - I do not understand why - article serves to help educate the curious about today's definition and classification of vampires. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ben09387 (talk • contribs)
- Actually it's that other article promoting the book that is tagged for deletion. Jasynnash2 (talk) 15:58, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- No, this article has not been tagged for deletion — yet. But it does have major issues that need to be dealt with. The biggest one is that the article is written like an essay, and not in the dispassionate tone of an encyclopedia article. Another problem is that it is primarily composed of quotations of long passages form a single book. That is not the variety of reliable sources that an article such as this requires. Moreover, the article almost seems like it is promoting this book more than anything else. You might be better served by merging smaller parts of this article into the main Vampire article. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 16:02, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
