Valery Chkalov (Russian: Валерий Чкалов, UK title - The Red Flyer, USA title - Wings of Victory) is a Soviet 1941 film about the life of Valery Chkalov. Directed by Mikhail Kalatozov. Screenplay by Georgy Baidukov, Boris Chirskov and Dmitri Tarasov. Produced by Lenfilm. Distributed in USA by Artkino Pictures (1941), Top1Video (1999)
