[edit] Uta Barth's father

In the interview with Uta Barth conducted by Matthew Higgs for the Phaidon (2004) published book entitled 'Uta Barth', she mentions that her father was a chemist and that the family moved to the US from Germany because of his work (see p8).

I think then the claim on this page that Uta Barth is Roland Barthes' daughter is false.

You are correct. He is Günther Barth, who worked with Carl Djerassi in the Chemistry department at Stanford. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.97.98.201 (talk) 19:15, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
