Unwrapped is the tenth studio solo album released by American singer Gloria Estefan, but is the twenty-fourth album overall, released in 2003.

The entire CD was recorded live, giving the album a raw, uncensored vibe that is pure and intense. All of the musicians and vocalists collaborated together, recording their takes simultaneously, which gives Unwrapped a powerful cohesiveness that brings musical excellence from the intro to the finale. For the first time, Gloria flexes her muscles as a producer. Along with her husband and long time producer, Emilio Estefan Jr. and Sebastian Krys, who has worked on her projects for many years.[5]

In addition to branching out in terms of production, Gloria wanted to invite musicians who would give the album a distinct sound. Among those artists was included Gloria's all-time favorite musical partner Stevie Wonder, who was at the top of Gloria's wish list, and Stevie needed no convincing. His amazing harmonica solo and unmistakable sultry voice appear on the sexy and soulful "Into You."[[6]]. Another artist who appeared, was Chrissie Hynde, who made a spectacular performance on the song "One Name." In addition, "Hoy," which became one of Estefan's most successful singles, was written by Peruvian singer-composer Gian Marco and contains several Peruvian folk music elements.

In addition for promote the album, Gloria Estefan released a remix EP under the name of Unwrapped: Remixes, the EP was a Bonus Promo CD that was available with purchase of the Live & Unwrapped DVD during Pay Per View broadcasts and purchases of the DVD at shows during the Live & Re-Wrapped Tour.
