"Until the Night" is a song written by Billy Joel and included on his album 52nd Street, released in 1978. The single reached #50 on the UK Singles Chart.
It is also included in his three CD and one DVD collection titled My Lives, a referral to his hit song "My Life".
Although it is not considered as a top "hit" by Joel, it is well known to his fans. The song is a precursor to the 1950's flavored album An Innocent Man.
