From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One Piece: Unlimited Cruise is an upcoming video game announced for Nintendo's Wii console based on the popular manga and anime One Piece. The game has been scheduled to be released in two episodes, one which will be released in the summer of 2008 and the second episode, which will follow up in the winter of 2008.

The trailer for the game shows that Luffy has a new styled outfit instead of his Unlimited Adventure costume. The recent website for Namco Bandai has shown that Luffy, Usopp, Chopper, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Robin and Brook all have new outfits related to animals. Details on the new costumes has not yet been released as to how the new costume relate to the story. From Zoro's design it was revealed that this game includes his new katana Shuusui.

-Costume Themes-

Character Animal Theme
Monkey D. Luffy Lion
Roronoa Zoro Dragon
Nami Tropical Fish
Usopp Owl
Sanji Goat
Tony Tony Chopper Dinosaur
Nico Robin Butterfly
Franky Rhinoceros
Brook Swallow

Brook was first revealed to be in the game by a screenshot, putting belief that he may appear in the game. In the end of the Jump Festival 07' Teaser Trailer for the game, Brook is seen as the trailer ends, causing Luffy to shout "What?!". Brook now has his own character page on the Namco Bandai site.

According to the information released by Famitsu, Wapol, the Marines, and The Enforcers will make an appearance[1]. Buggy the Clown, Captain Kuro and Don Krieg are all in the Vs. Mode [2]

From screenshots from Famitsu scans, and the Namco Bandai page there are 4 islands; A winter island, a beachy desert island with a seashell, a jungle island with a giant coral reef surrounding it, and an island with a giant tree and waterfalls under it. It also shows that the Thousand Sunny can be explored, showing many of the rooms inside of it. In the tankōbon version of One Piece manga, Oda drew detailed interior design for Thousand Sunny including each piece of furniture and passage ways. From the current preview it seems Unlimited Cruise kept Oda's design down to exact detail down to the patterns on the walls and furnitures.
