The School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas offers education in various architectural fields. Over the past years from 2008, 100% of graduates have achieved placement in both jobs and graduate programs after graduation.[1]
[edit] Degrees
Four degrees total are attainable from the College, the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, which require about ten semesters of work, and the Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies or Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture Studies, both are the basis for graduate work in architecture or further education in other fields.[2][3]Several minors are also available.[4]
[edit] Community Design Center
The Community Design Center was established in 1995, and finds innovative solutions to community planning problems.[5] The CDC encourages teamwork and collaboration with other University of Arkansas departments.[6] The program has received over 25 awards, and aided the University in securing almost $62 million in grants.[5]
