United Nations Security Council Resolution 1593

United Nations Security Council Resolution 1593 was adopted by the United Nations Security Council on 31 March 2005,[1] by a vote of eleven to none with four abstentions (Algeria, Brazil, China and the United States of America). It referred the situation in the Darfur region of Sudan to the International Criminal Court, and urged all states to cooperate fully.
