Unipol Gruppo Finanziario S.p.A (BIT: UNI) is the third biggest Italian insurance company, founded in 1962. It is based in Bologna and its president is Pierluigi Stefanini since January 5, 2006. Stefanini succeeded Giovanni Consorte, who resigned following the bancopoli scandal.
