Prysmian (BIT: PRY) is an Italian-based telecomunications and energy cable business headquartered in Milan.
In 2005 The Pirelli group sold its cables and telecommunications businesses to Goldman Sachs and was re-branded as Prysmian. The company was originally founded in 1879 and has subsidiaries in 35 countries, 54 plants in 21 countries, 7 Research & Development Centres in Europe, USA and South America.
It is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
