[edit] Move to Univisión

Since "Univisión" is used elsewhere in the encyclopedia, it makes sense to try and be consistent. I'm not sure if that means we should move this page, or rename the pertinent categories.... – Seancdaug 07:24, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Can you show me an official Univision page that calls it Univisión. Even though such a name technically should have that accent, if they don't use the accent, we don't use the accent. -- user:zanimum
Nope. That's why I asked. I've always seen it in its unaccented form. But my initial point remains: we should determine what the actual title of the network is and make sure both the article and the category use that title. Are there any objections to my going ahead and listing Category:Univisión television network at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion, then? – Seancdaug 04:20, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

I've removed this page's entry from Wikipedia:Requested moves due to a lack of consensus on the move. If this changes, feel free to add another request. --Lox (t,c) 21:50, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sale status

I hear there is news coming up soon! John wesley 14:33, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Sailor Moon

I have a few qusetions... Where and when did this come about??? Are we talking about reruns of the anime or are we talking about the live-action version now airing in Japan??? Lastly and most importantly, who will get rights to it... Univision, Televisa or Venevision??? Just curious!!! --WIKISCRIPPS 07 SAT OCT 7 2006 8:15 PM EDT

[edit] merging univision and univision.com

I don't think univision and Univision.com should be merged. I would actually think there should be separate entities for Univision Communications, Univision, and Univision.com. Univision is the name of the network, not the name of the company. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 38.112.47.130 (talk) 20:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] TPG Capital takes over Univision

Could we be talking about possible changes in its on-screen graphics such as promos, bumpers and potentially a new logo??? Not to mention, possible changes in the website!?!? How about realignment of its programs!?!? It's possible in situations like these... What do you think??? By the way, just a curious tought!!! --WIKISCRIPPS 07 FRI MAR 30 2007 6:53 PM EDT

Univision needs not do anything, because it has a monopoly on Mexican viewers. Yakuman (数え役満) 23:00, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] dAD IS A POOP??

Who put "dAD IS A POOP" in the middle of this article? And Why?

24.165.10.129 07:26, 18 June 2007 (UTC)Jiesen 6/18/07 12:25 am Pacific

It was put there by another unregistered user, presumably to experiment with the "edit this page" function. --WCQuidditch 18:28, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Potentially problematic tag re Haim Saban

This article tagged Saban as Jewish. Actually, if you look at his article he lives in California. Is the Jewish adjective intended to distinguish him from Muslims? Why do we identify people as Jews? I don't recall people mentioning Ted Turner's religion. Dogru144 05:04, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] El Chavo Animado move to Saturday Night

If "El Chavo Animado" will move to Saturday Nights before "Sabado Gigante" starting March 1st. What's this mean for "La Parodia"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.237.220.220 (talk) 18:54, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Translations

The program title translations need to be sourced, oh by the way. SamEV (talk) 22:32, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Something to note

Shouldn't it be noted that Univision ranks higher than the English broadcast network The CW in the Nielson ratings? ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 08:11, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

I think it should. SamEV (talk) 21:32, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] What was the reason for the policy change?

Many of the shows that have been on Univision for years were suddenly censored. These changes also affected Galavision. I am referring to shows that have been in rerun for years, and were never censored until now. What was the reason for this? Anybody got the inside dope? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ray dood (talk • contribs) 16:06, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
