[edit] Merge to University of Calgary page

I don't believe that this should be merged. I am just updating the article now -perhaps it should be labelled a stub (I'm new at editing Wikipedia, so I'm not familiar with all of the conventions - feel free to point them out.) If you refer to List of law schools in Canada you will see that many Canadian law schools have their own pages. This is the beginning of one for the University of Calgary Law School, similar to those that exist for other Canadian law schools.

Information to be added: history, alumni, admissions policy (possibly).

  • Is there any reason then why every seperate university department shouldn't have its own seperate entry? The Haskayne School of Business? The Faculty of Fine Arts? I'm not sure the convention is the best way to go with this. At least until this entry is expanded significantly, I would be in favour of rolling it into the University of Calgary entry proper. • I agree, this article is too small, and too insignificant to be on an entirely seperate page. For one thing, this faculty is not a world renowned one, and so not many people will be looking it up. I feel that only faculties that many people are aware of, such as the Harvard School of Law should be on their own page. If people feel that this faculty needs to be mentioned on wikipedia, then it should be placed onto the University of Calgary page. However, if this is the case, then I feel that all of the University's faculties should be mentioned with a breif description on the U of C page. But to point out, the faculties are already mentioned through a link to their respective websites at ucalgary.ca on the U of C page, so do we really need to write articles for them? After all, if someone really wants to know about a certain faculty, they can just follow the link on the page and get direct information from the University itself. Concur - this should be merged with the main article for the university. But I'm just here to update the Canada project tag. PKT (talk) 17:23, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
