The Daily Cougar is a daily newspaper run entirely by students at the University of Houston. In publication since 1927, The Daily Cougar was originally named The Cougar. The Daily Cougar is one of only two independent daily college newspapers in Texas, and operates as a student-managed forum for the university community, a source of campus news for students, faculty, staff, and administrators at UH.
