[edit] Aquiles Paredes

A tag has been placed on Aquiles Paredes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 14:11, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your article about Aquiles Paredes

Hi. I'm afraid I had to speedy delete the article, because it showed no evidence of him being notable. However, I'd be happy to recreate it in your userspace (from where it can be moved back into the encyclopedia, when ready) if you assure me he passes our notability criteria. Specifically, is he the subject of multiple, non trivial references in what we define as reliable sources? Also, please read WP:COI and WP:NOT#Memorial. You can respond here or at my talk page. --Dweller (talk) 14:25, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Read your note (not sure if you meant to remove it). Currently, deleted material is kept indefinitely. Only admins like myself are able to see it or restore it. Read up the policies and drop me a line when you're ready, or you can ask any other admin to help you if I'm not around, e.g. weekends. My colleague User:The Rambling Man is an admin and often covers my work when I'm not able to help, so if you leave me a message and get no answer, I suggest you head over to his talk page. --Dweller (talk) 14:55, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
