[edit] Date of post Soviet karbovanets
It says January 10, 1991, but the central bank says 1992 [1]. banknoteworld.com uses Pick catalog data which indicates 1991 alone [2]. If it were printed with 1991 but actually issued in 1992, the file name would be ... 1991(1992). --ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 12:27, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- It should be January 10, 1992. My mistake. Thanks for pointing this out. There is a nice article on the history of hryvnya in Ukrainain wiki, which needs to be incorporated further: uk:Історія української гривні. --KPbIC 07:33, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, this site www.globalfinancialdata.com has completely diffrent date on their file. Any reasons why are there such misinterpretations?Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 19:14, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Historical section
To improve the readability, I have edited rather strenuously. Aside from adding a "the" in front of Ukraine (which seems to be a common thread in English), I hope to have avoided any misstatements. Please feel free to correct, but please don't revert wholesale. Overuse of run-ons and indistinct prepositions have been greatly reduced!
