[edit] Adoption/ Help
Hey, a fellow Bernard Cornwell reader – what did you think of Sword Song? Any help you could give me with my adoptees would be great, it’s really hard to tell what to do next. And the userbox code – the basic structure that I use is:
{{Userbox |id = [[image|pixel size]] |id-c = colour |info = message |info-c = colour |info-fc = colour }}
Hope that helps!
You also indicated that there were other items of wikipedia in which you were a little rusty – so I have a suggestion. I need help with adoptees, you need help with wiki code… why don’t we set up a double adoption? It might make things easier – and it helps boost my adoptee numbers! All the best, TheMoridian 08:00, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Could You Adopt Me?
Hi, I have contributed to Wikipedia before as an anonymous editor, I have user accounts with some other wikia sites, and I recently created a user account on wikipedia. I would like to be adopted by an experienced user, and I saw on your page that you are quite experienced – would you be able to adopt me? Thanks for your help – Helikaon 09:02, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, I’ve adopted him. Thanks (my adoptees are increasing now!!). I entirely agree with you regarding Sword Song, but there is so much that needs to be covered, I don’t think it will all fit in a set of 6. And I’ve noticed the annoying habit as well – surely Bernard Cornwell would know that devoted fans read his books, so we don’t need an update with every new instalment?! I also notice, rereading the first 3 books, that he never repeated anything in any of them! Once again, thanks for the adoptee – all the best, TheMoridian 09:22, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
