Talk:UEFA Pro Licence in England
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Is there an article about UEFA Pro License, not specific to England? Because, AFAIK it's required in Russia too, and probably elsewhere. Grue 17:03, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Jim Gannon (Stockport manager) got his pro licence the other week, can we add a 'Qualified in 2007 section'? http://www.stockportexpress.co.uk/sport/football/stockport_county/s/1016145_jims_championship_challenge —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.232.208.134 (talk) 16:35, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Avram Grant
According to various articles in the news recently (including this one: [1], Avram Grant doesn't have a UEFA Pro License, yet this article lists him as someone who was given one for 10 years experience. Should his name be taken off now?

Given that he was only added yesterday, it seems fair enough to remove him, so that's what I've done. Where are the references for all these names, in any case? --Quywompka 10:03, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Avram Grant does not have a UEFA Pro Licence, should he be added to Glenn Roeder and Gareth Southgate in section 4? Dean Armond 16:14, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Steve McClaren
This article currently states he qualified in both 2004 and 2005, which is it?
btw the names from the 2007 section came from here [2]--Mas 18 dl 20:48, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] UEFA Pro Licence
UEFA Pro Licence applies to all countries in UEFA and e.g. every team playing in Champions League is required to have a couch with this licen. Thus there is a need for more generic article about UEFA Pro Licence - not just from English perspective.
Similarly also Coaches with UEFA Pro Licence category should target to include all coaches.
However, before starting to do anything further, should we first decide how articles should be organised? Perhaps one article discussing about UEFA Pro Licence itself and then other articles discussing UEFA Pro Licence in particular country: who are required to have it, what exceptions there are and last but not least list of coaches who have the licence.
Then the category could consist of articles "UEFA Pro Licence holders in country XXX" (or subcategories, but I that would be bit dublicating work.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.100.124.218 (talk) 18:20, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Uefalogo.gif
Image:Uefalogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
