The UCLA School of Dentistry is the dental school of UCLA. The school is located in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The school enrolls, on average, 88 freshmen per year. Additionally 12 PPID or foreign trained dentists are added to each class starting at the Junior level.
[edit] Controversies
The American Dental Association is currently investigating allegations of cheating by at least a dozen UCLA students as well as students from USC, Loma Linda University and New York University. After a months-long investigation, the Daily Bruin exposed alleged preferential treatment given large financial donors in exchange for admission to the dental school's highly competitive orthodontics residency program.[1]
