Tycho crater on the Moon.

Tycho is the deep crater near center with the point in the middle. The rays emanate from it. It is named after the astronomer Tycho Brahe.

The photo was taken in 7/27/2004 by Joe Huber using a Nexstar 11 GPS Canon Digital Rebel. Shutter speed: 1/400 sec ISO: 800.
