Thanks
Thank you for helping proofread the article Lunar New Year cross-strait charter(though I think the old topic was also good). I really apreciate! I myself speak poor English though I have tried my best. It's really kind of you to help us!~BTY, I want to ask are there any regulations regulated we have to use American spelling system? Cause someone changed "travellers", which I think is British style and is okay to wiki, into "travelers"......Tsungyenlee (converse)、(Contribs) 14:44, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Paul McCartney by Richard Avedon.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Paul McCartney by Richard Avedon.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ilse@ 00:45, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for providing a fair use rationale for Image:Paul McCartney by Richard Avedon.jpg. The image is not discussed in the article. Could you specify the purpose of use and explain how the image "significantly increase[s] readers' understanding of the topic in a way that words alone cannot" (see WP:NFCC #8)? – Ilse@ 08:49, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Henry Morgentaler in prison.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Henry Morgentaler in prison.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:03, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Image:Paul_McCartney_by_Richard_Avedon.jpg
I have tagged Image:Paul_McCartney_by_Richard_Avedon.jpg as {{orphaned fairuse}}. In order for the image to be kept at Wikipedia, it must be included in at least one article. If this image is being used as a link target instead of displayed inline, please add {{not orphan}} to the image description page to prevent it being accidentally marked as orphaned again. Non-free use disputed for Image:John_Lennon_by_Richard_Avedon.jpg
| This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:John_Lennon_by_Richard_Avedon.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Calliopejen1 03:27, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Categorization of WP:PDD userbox
Hi there. I'm a member of WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants. Per this topic on the project's talk page, I have created the Category:WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants members (feel free to add yourself to it!). Would it be possible to change the category that the project's userbox adds users to from Category:Wikipedians interested in drugs to the new category? I could do this, if you like, I just don't want to take too many liberties on your userspace without your permission. ;) Thanks! ~ Danelo 18:13, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- And in record time, no less! Thanks again! ~ Danelo 18:19, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

- No problem, thanks again for the fast change. One more thing: I noticed that the userbox isn't including users who have it in the category, but it is including {{User:Twas Now/Userbox/WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants}}. This can be fixed if you change <noinclude>[[Category:WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants members]]</noinclude> to <includeonly>[[Category:WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants members]]</includeonly>. ~ Danelo 18:41, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks. A final request (I swear I'm not trying to be a continual pest, I'm just noticing things as they come up): when you get a chance, do you mind changing it to this: [[Category:WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants members|{{PAGENAME}}]]? That way, the pages in the category are sorted by name (e.g. D for Danelo) instead of the space they're in (e.g. U for User:Danelo). Thanks. :) ~ Danelo 18:56, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
-
No, I'm not sure how to not include the pages in the Wikipedia space. I'm still trying a few things with the parameters, though. I'll let you know if I figure it out (and please let me know if you do). ~ Danelo 19:21, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, got it. It needed this: <includeonly>{{#ifeq: {{{nocat|}}} | yes | | [[Category:WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants members|{{PAGENAME}}]]}}</includeonly>. To exclude a page from the category, add |nocat=yes. I've added it to the one on the WP:PDD project page, so it's not in the category. The other one I'm not sure how to remove; it's in the Template:usbk, and nocat=yes doesn't seem to work (even though it says the template works with optional parameters). Actually, it seems that how to exclude categories using this template is being discussed here. ~ Danelo 19:51, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
-
- Yeah, I guess we'll have to wait for the template to be sorted out. I figured out why I wasn't alphabetized: I had added [[Category:WikiProject Psychedelics, Dissociatives and Deliriants]] to my page when I created the category. I added the {{PAGENAME}} bit, and now it's fixed (although since the userbox adds me to the same category it's redundant).
- Also, if you're interested, I've made a few proposals regarding WP:PDD on its talk page. ~ Danelo 15:18, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
New WP:PDD project image
Hello again... as per the discussion on the project and talk pages, the project now has a new image.
I simply changed the image in the current userbox, but (to me, at least) the colour scheme does't work as well with the current image (though it worked quite nicely with the previous). If you have the time and interest, would you mind looking at the colours? If not, that's fine; I'll do my best when I get the chance. ~ Danelo 22:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

God a "jerk"
Hi. There's few more likely ways to upset and offend vast numbers of people than insulting God. Please will you go back and delete these words. --Dweller 10:06, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
