- There was a kiosk until 1970s.

- February 5, 1941 Opened as Nihon Hume Tube Mae Stop.
- April 9, 1943 The stop was raised to a station.
- April 1, 1944 Along with nationalization of Nambu Railway, the station became Tsudayama Station of JNR Nambu Line.
- March 5, 1972 Discontinued handling freight service.
- April 1, 1987 Along with privatization and division of JNR, East Japan Railway Company started operating the station.
