Troy Hearfield (born October 31, 1987 in Tamworth, NSW) is an attacking football midfielder who currently plays for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League. He made the transfer on the 28 of March 2008 after a rif between his former club Newcastle Jets about his release.

On 2 February 2007, Hearfield made his professional debut in a game against Sydney FC.

He has represented Australia at both U-17 and U-20 level. He was recently added to the U-23 Olympic squad.

There have been speculations of a possible transfer to English Premier League giants Manchester United, Liverpool F.C. and Chelsea F.C., Troy said at a recent press conference that they have formally made a bid of $46,000,000. But he added that his agent would reject any offers made to the player, because he is 100% commited to his club.
