[edit] Old, unsectioned comment

Hi Everyone,

I just made my first article titled "Trinity Catholic College"...

can u all see it and tell me what you think of it!

thank ya'all

Thanks for your efforts, but the article appears to have been copied from the school's website[1]. Wikipedia cannot accept text like this as it violates the copyright of that website. I encourage you to use that website to produce an original article, rewriting it in your own words, but I'm afraid we cannot use it verbatim. --Cherry blossom tree 11:20, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello

Noticed User:Truelife's message on Ohnoitsjaime's talk page. Student council kind of stuff typically doesn't satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines. I would expect that it would be ok to mention that the council is important, but who is currently on it is pretty useless. Anyway, the article looks mostly copied straight from the website, which I noticed is ok, copyvio-wise. However, as a result, the article is completely out of line with the manual of style and is rife with neutrality issues. I started editing proper style (and grammar) into it, but I've been leaving the POV. Anyway, just wanted to point out some areas for improvement that I'll be working on. Also, I'm an American, so I may accidentally use American spellings. Someone should change those to Australian if they see any, since that's the scope of the article.--Anaraug 09:20, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Trinity Catholic College Auburn Logo.gif

Image:Trinity Catholic College Auburn Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
