User talk:Trgiii

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, Trgiii, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions to Mississippi Delta. I've had to remove some of the text per our copyright policy. I understand you went to some effort to add the wiki-links to the text, and those links are very useful, thank you very much. It's unfortunate that I had to remove the links along with the text, but it should be possible to rewrite the text and keep the wikilinks; I've added a note on the Talk: page alerting editors to the version in the article history that contains the valuable wikilinks. I was able to keep some of your text and list contributions, see the talk page for more explanation. In particular, the text from the US Governtment website is in the public domain, and so should be able to be copied freely.

Also, I'd like to apologize for reverting your changes without a more timely explanation. I had guests over this weekend, and I wasn't able to give your contributions the time needed to separate the copyvios from the non-copyvio. Again, I know you went to some effort to add the text and links, and your contributions are appreciated greatly. As long as future contributions follow the copyright policy, we would be happy to accept any other edits you might wish to make. --Interiot 14:04, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
