Transit Australia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Transit Australia styles itself Australia's Urban Passenger Transport Journal. Originally called Electric Traction it was founded by the Australia Electric Traction Association. The magazine is published monthly.
[edit] Point of view
The original point of view of this publication and the society it represents was as an advocate of railway electric traction. However in more recent decades it has expanded its coverage to public transport in general, with a more neutral approach. As a result, it has attracted serious corporate advertising, and has become a fairly respected journal of record.
The number of pages in each issue has gradually grown over the years, and it is now printed entirely in colour. From January 2008 the size will increase to A4.
[edit] Issues
