[edit] Editing out confusion etc

I'm considering changing the introduction here to be more accessible to non-anatomists, and deleting the section on weights. Is that ok? Any idea what I should do with the weight lifting info? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aleph Mercure (talkcontribs) 19:40, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

I quite liked the weightlifting info, as that is a very common reason for someone to research a specific muscle. Really, in this instance the distinction between fact and advice is minimal. --Mavrickatubc (talk) 04:24, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
I also liked the weightlifting section. I came to this article because I lift weights; I am sure many others do ths same. I am not looking for instructions, but I am looking for information, and weight training routines are information. Cheers. Chelseaboy (talk) 13:13, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "{{Confusing}}" tag

Although, am myself a medical student, I don't think the article can be made much more understandable without expanding it greatly, so have removed the tag. If someone still finds it confusing, kindly point out your difficulties here, I'll try to help, and also make appropriate changes in the article.

Also had a doubt—if all the fibers in the muscle are supplied by the same nerve, will the simultaneous contraction of the superior and inferior fibers not antagonize each others' actions? Hope someone answers it.

Regards.
