[edit] Merge with transmission line

Absolutely not. T line is just one narrow example of a T medium, which includes solids, liquids, gas and vaccuum. Rexparry sydney 02:00, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Return of 'Aether'

Paradox...Quoting: "However, it is now known that electromagnetic waves do not require a physical transmission medium, and so can travel through the "vacuum" of free space". If there actually is such a thing as an 'Aether', which pervades everywhere (even a vacuum) how can we say this? We only know that EM waves travel through an apparently empty space. 160.84.253.241 13:46, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Electrical field?

When you said: "Electromagnetic radiation can be transmitted through an optical media, such as optical fiber, or through twisted pair wires, coaxial cable, or dielectric-slab waveguides" Are you sure that an electromagnetic radiation can transmit trough a metal wire? Aren't they supposed to be just electrical field?
