Talk:Tourism in France
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
France, and its tourist industry, are just Paris and the Alpine ski resorts. Vast tracts of the country are peppered with rental accommodation and small hotels which greet a faithful clientele from all over the world. For example, the English like to spend their summers in the Dordogne valley, the Spanish come to party in Biarritz and St Jean de Luz on the Basque coast ... and the Irish have made Lourdes their first home. In short: there is something for everyone in France and even if you stray off the beaten tourist track you will find good accommodation, a professional welcome and lots of good food.
Agreed, but why not alter the article to say that?

Well, no one else has added it so I will. I'm rewording it slightly, but otherwise it's the first comment's words. ----
How the hell can Adolf Hitler be considered a "tourist" in France? :) – ugen64 04:47, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
