Tosnensky District

Tosnensky District (Russian: То́сненский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district of Leningrad Oblast, Russia. Area: 3,585.4 square kilometers (1,384.3 sq mi). Population: 77,194 (2002 Census); 78,500 (1989 Census).
The district was established in 1930 on the territory of abolished Lubansky District and parts of Detskoselsky and Kolpinsky Districts.
Two towns (Nikolskoye and Lyuban) and four urban-type settlements (Ulyanovka, Krasny Bor, Fornosovo, and Ryabovo) are located on the district's territory. The town of Tosno, while serves as the district's administrative center, is administratively (but not municipally) separate from it.
