Too Much Texas were a band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in the mid-eighties, and soon relocating to Manchester. They released one single on Uglyman Records, later home of I Am Kloot and Elbow. TMT supported the likes of New Order, The House of Love and The Beloved, they released a retrospective record called Juvenilia on Newmemorabilia Records on April 1st 2006. Singer Tom Hingley went on to join Inspiral Carpets and now fronts Tom Hingley and the Lovers.
