This article needs a lot of work, there is a lot of information here, but not much reference. Additionally, it needs some standardization into English. Does anyone have a background in this genre of music and dance? - AKeen 18:33, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

The article is biased- the etimology of the word explained here is a theory- there are many others, it over-estimates the gypsy influence. 3 April 2007
