Tompkins Cortland Community College is a public two-year college supported by Cortland and Tompkins Counties. The main college campus is located in the Town of Dryden. Extension sites are located in Cortland, New York and Ithaca, New York. Tompkins Cortland Community College is one of sixty four member institutions of the State University of New York system.
The college has 39 degree programs, and many students transfer to a four-year college.
Tompkins Cortland Community College was named the top digital community college for 2005 and 2007 by the Center for Digital Education and American Association of Community Colleges in the small/rural college category.
The colleges is also known by the nickname "TC3."

Tompkins Cortland Community College was one of the first Community Colleges to offer on-campus housing in New York State. In fall semester of 1999 the college opened its first two residence halls. The college currently has the capacity to house 549 students on-campus in five halls.
