Schenectady County Community College is a two-year college associated with SUNY, located in Schenectady, New York.

The college was founded in 1967 and started in the former Van Curler Hotel.
[edit] Expansion
The campus has been enlarged several times around that site, most recently in 2001 with the completion of the Stockade Building, a three story academic facility. In 2007 the Culinary Arts facilities were expanded with a 14,000 square foot project including new culinary labs and a new dining room.
[edit] Student Population and Degrees Offered
The college has approximately 4500 full or part-time students. Forty-one career degree, transfer degree, and certificate programs are offered.
