Tom Creavy

Thomas Daniel "Tom" Creavy (February 3, 1911 – March 3, 1979) was an American professional golfer.
Creavy was born in Tuckahoe, Westchester County, New York.
He won the 1931 PGA Championship at Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, Rhode Island defeating Denny Shute 2 & 1 in match play. Creavy was the club professional at the Albany Country Club and Saratoga Spa. He played in 11 major championships, including the inaugural Masters in 1934, but his competitive playing career was shortened by meningitis.
Creavy died of a heart attack in 1979 in Delray Beach, Florida.
