[edit] Nickname is official

In the Hebrew Wikipedia it written (here: he:שם חיבה) that Lapid added to his official name the nickname "Tommy". Toya 05:10, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

According to the Knesset website, the spelling is Tomy. It's also pronounced with the long "o" (i.e. TO-mee) rather than like the English name "Tommy." Can this be confirmed elsewhere? -- Thanks, Deborahjay 18:23, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Tommy is the spelling normally seen. Epson291 06:44, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

I don't think it's really important, but in case the article name is indeed changes, it should be Tommy per WP:COMMONNAME and not Tomy (if the rationale is to use the official name, then Yosef should be used). -- Ynhockey (Talk) 07:52, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

I've moved it to Tommy per above. пﮟოьεԻ 57 11:05, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
