[edit] Fullmetal, again

re Homunculi: if we are keeping individual Homunculi off the main article, I think they should stay in the character section, as they are characters and not just terms.

re drama CDs: I have an inkling of what they're about from reading the Gangan page, but I wouldn't trust any translation I came up with; you may want to ask someone else. TangentCube, Dialogues 02:12, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

re main characters: other than Father and Dante, who get passes for being main antagonists, the only other character I can think of that plays major roles in both media would be Bradley; Izumi is less important in the manga, while Hohenheim barely gets any screentime in either. If you want to re-add Bradley to the character list, that should be fine. TangentCube, Dialogues 23:00, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
re recent changes to character section: I can't agree with changing these to a bulleted list. There's more than enough on the main characters there to use the definition list format, as recommended by WP:MOS-AM. Also, voice actor credits in anime articles do not (generally) need external references; the fact that the show has a credit roll suffices. TangentCube, Dialogues 23:55, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
re "leave it as [...] Wolf's Rain": could you be more specific?
Well, to have it run together like that would essentially require switching back to the bullet list format. Emulating Serial Experiments Lain on this point should be fine, which is what we're doing when using the definition list. TangentCube, Dialogues 01:24, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
re VAs: switching the VA info back to prose will take care of the issue with Dante; I'll go ahead and do this. TangentCube, Dialogues 00:56, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
re terminology: I wouldn't merge "blood seal" with "human transmutation"; if I recall correctly, Ed only had to give up his arm because Al's soul had already passed into the Gate. However, "blood seal" and "transmutation circle" could be merged into "alchemy". The other terms are disparate enough to be seperate, though "Philosopher's Stone" should come before "homunculus", as the former helps define the latter. I've gone ahead and done this, though pieces of the new "alchemy" definition may need references. TangentCube, Dialogues 05:52, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
re Amestris: yeah, that will work. The State Alchemist entry doesn't specify which state it's about right now anyway. TangentCube, Dialogues 04:34, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
re Ishbal: I believe so, and it's backed up from a line in Viz's translation ("Ishbalans are a different ethnic group, but they're still Amestrians!"—volume 15, page 31, panel 3). TangentCube, Dialogues 23:28, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
re refs: I was planning to go through the refs to the series' volumes, but I wanted to wait until we were done adding them. TangentCube, Dialogues 22:25, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
re subsections: I don't see a pressing need for subsectioning the terminology, unless we were to follow ja: and add every place that's been named, and I don't think we want to do that. If we did subsection, though, what's currently there would be sectioned like this, in my opinion: Alchemy, containing Human Transmutation, Philosopher's Stone, Homunculus, and Chimera; and Locations, containing Amestris and Ishval. This would leave Automail standing alone, though, which is why I'd rather not do it. TangentCube, Dialogues 04:36, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Translation

Hey, how are you? I can give you the translation and/or the Romanization. I'll start with just the translation. I do more legal and technical translation, but I'll give this a shot.

[edit] Merge discussion

See discussion thread concerning merging Akatsuki (Naruto) here. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 06:00, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Kenshin and Hitenmitsurugi ryu

Sesshomaru, I have been talking with collectian who told me that the hitenmitsurugi and sakabato should be better in the Kenshin article. The explanation of the seijuro hiko teachers is explained in the article of the character. I have been making a drafthere. To reduce the high in-universe I decided to delete ryu tsui sho kan and mei from the article (most of them are not important and ryumeisen is a one-episode move. The reception of Kenshin can also be expanded since the merchandising info of the sakabato can be moved, thoughts? Feel free to make grammatical corrections.--Tintor2 (talk) 16:58, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

The draft looks pretty good (there's a broken citation though), and I agree with merging the content from Rurouni Kenshin to Himura Kenshin. As for techniques, what is the name of the attack where Kenshin swings his blade and rocks fly at his target? You've probably already said the name but I just want to be sure. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:08, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Em, fly, I think it is " Ryūtsuisen (龍槌閃, Ryūtsuisen? lit. "Dragon Hammer Strike"), combining a downward swing with a descent from a jump to add the power of gravity to the blow".--Tintor2 (talk) 17:12, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
The problem of the refs is that some are used before in personality and background. I will later add page number to them (chapter 1 has like 4).--Tintor2 (talk) 17:20, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Not that one. Argh, I can't find the chapter. I believe it was the scene where he defeated that big guy with the kusarigama. Kenshin uses it once in the manga, and a couple times in the anime. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:22, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Now I remember. Is doryusen, I think he used in the manga in the fight against sanosuke but to knock an oldman.--Tintor2 (talk) 17:24, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Ah, that's the one! I was thinking the Sano scene or the big assassin guy. Can you reference this in the article? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:27, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
In the article its not used due to lack of importance (its like adding shuriken clone technique of sasuke, do you remember it? other techniques of kenshin like soryusen, ryusosen, hiryusen are not used for the same reason ).Tintor2 (talk) 17:29, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Well, I thought the anime uses would count too. Should we not mention any anime-only scenes? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:31, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I was counting both. I decided to leave ryutsuisen, ryukansen and ryushosen due to they are their most recurrying move, Yahiko also copied them and they are the only moves that kenshin uses in the jinchuu arc apart from the ougi and the kuzuryusen. However, with the new thing we are going to add, ryustsuisen, ryushosen and ryukansen should be deleted to reduce the in-universe info.Tintor2 (talk) 17:35, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, that makes sense. Can we work on Sōjirō later, after you're done? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:38, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
yes, I think I will try to improve the conception of him--Tintor2 (talk) 18:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Draft moved to the article. Feel free to make any correction.--Tintor2 (talk) 19:03, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Grammer and all looks good. Do you want me to look for merchandise or anything? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:27, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I have been looking in animeondvd, them anime reviews and ann but I couldnt find anything of reception of sojiro. The merchandising must be easy to find. I think that clean up tag can be deleted now. (this is just an opinion).--Tintor2 (talk) 00:30, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. That cleanup tag should go, mainly because the article needs expansion and sourcing more than anything else. Where'd you get reception for Kenshin? Might be good to start from there. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
The ANN reviews I read focused on the characters of Kenshin, Saito, Shishio, the new designs of the OVA, a bit of Enishi and Sanosuke and general parts of the series (including plot style, comedy, etc). Them Anime Reviews talks about the four main characters. Animeondvd is somehow general but it critizes more the events that the characters. I will see if I can finf something of sojiro.Tintor2 (talk) 23:56, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

I expanded the conception section of kenshin. Could you pay a grammatical check?Tintor2 (talk) 20:23, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Did some fixes. Who else, aside from Sōjirō, can dodge or block the Kuzu-ryūsen? Just think it would be nice to name others, that's all. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:20, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Enishi in the volume 27, he powned him before performing the first hit (that must really hurt).--Tintor2 (talk) 22:23, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Hiko can also block the kuzuryusen since he also knows it.--Tintor2 (talk) 22:26, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Can you cite these in the article? Individually of course, by chronological order. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:08, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
I can cite them. If I tell them I would be overdetailing it. User Collectian has made a request for peer review, I guess we could reword kuzuryusen like this:

learns the Kuzu-ryūsen (九頭龍閃, Kuzu-ryūsen? lit. "Nine-headed Dragon Strike"), which simultaneously deals nine strikes to the most fundamental targets of swordsmanship, making guarding and dodging in almost impossible" To be simpler. Thoughts?--Tintor2 (talk) 23:13, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Are you there?--Tintor2 (talk) 23:55, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
I honestly think it's not overdetailing, but we might need a third opinion from Collectonian. And please forgive my tardiness. I am also very busy looking through my watchlist so I'm not always available as desired. Don't worry though, I will always be aware of my discussions here ;) Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:13, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
No problem ^_^ Its just I think it may be better if the article is more direct.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:16, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
Do you truly think listing the three characters who defected the Kuzu-ryūsen would be a crufty idea? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:32, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I dont think its cruft. I think that telling the fact that three characters who defected the attack may be confusing. I saw you worked in the son goku article and it doesnt say that his super saiyan 3 transformation is hard for him to use. If it was necessary to mention it, we would also have to explain how Enishi defeated the Amakakeru ryu no hirameki (that would go in the Enishi article). Talking about Dragon Ball, one of these days I would like to start working in Kuririn, who is one of my favourites. I know some places where I can get reception. Regards---Tintor2 (talk) 16:52, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I feel a bit ignored and lonely (just joking ^_^)--Tintor2 (talk) 23:51, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
I might add that bit to Goku, though the page is missing some crucial information, like, his childhood adventures. Actually, I've been longing to make an article for "Kid Goku" had I not been lazy after making Beelzebub (Sand Land) and Paifu. Think it a better name is lacking, as "Kid Goku" seems too "American". Almost made a page for "Neko Majin (character)" too, but was unanimated at the time. Well, the day you start fixing up Kuririn I'll surely be there. Back to Kenshin, what exactly should be done? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I ll ask collectian about this.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:11, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
If kept brief, I think it would be okay to include something along the lines of "Kuzu-ryūsen (九頭龍閃, Kuzu-ryūsen? lit. "Nine-headed Dragon Strike"), which simultaneously deals nine strikes to the most fundamental targets of swordsmanship, making guarding and dodging in almost impossible. X, Y, and Z are the only opponents of Kenshin's to do so in the series." Something like that. If I'm not mistaken, during the battle with Enishi, didn't someone, maybe Kenshin himself, note that it was defeated because Kenshin hadn't finished working out that it was okay to live and why? Collectonian (talk) 00:33, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Nah, Enishi was just more powerful. So Tintor, are you convinced? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:39, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the 3rd opinion. The one of hiko may be common sense, since both used the same moves. I think that we should wait for the peer review to know more or less how should it be. Enishi ghad actually seen the kzuryusen once and Kenshin said in that moment he had only strength for that fight. But who knows, I will let you guys decide and I ll help with the source.Tintor2 (talk) 00:44, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

So the conclusion is?--Tintor2 (talk) 00:44, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Go ahead and reference the characters with Sōjirō, like how Collectonian said. K? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:18, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sagara Sanosuke‎

We're a pretty good team eh? Though you should take all the credit, as all I'm doing is tweaking ;) ... anyway, how should we reference that his nickname is Sano? (BTW, did you read my other comment above?) Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:06, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Meant how should we cite that it truly is his nickname and not one Kenshin made up? Does anyone else call him that? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:33, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
I think nobody else call him sano.--Tintor2 (talk) 23:36, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok. The fact that only Kenshin calls him that should be specified in the article. Don't you agree? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:45, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
I will work in the in-universe information tomorrow. Lets hope this article will also get to GA.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:02, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
In the words of Stan Lee, “Excelsior!” Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Wha, what... what does that mean? (really I dont understand)--Tintor2 (talk) 00:07, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh, it's just a popular quote. "Excelsior!" is Latin for "Higher!" Pretty much meaning 'soar to new heights', 'reach for the stars', etc., etc. So, for tomorrow, I'm considering editing instances of "Sanosuke" into the common nickname "Sano". Thoughts about that? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:29, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I guess so. What I really want is to find the kanji of futae no kiwami.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:31, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Try asking WP:JAPAN. They might be able to help. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:34, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Could you re-consider this? I linked it because it was inbound to other pages, like Gray G. Haddock and Mashin Bōken Tan Lamp-Lamp is. Plan to link "AnimeonDVD.com" at Kenshin's page too. What do you say? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:43, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
What? You were the one who told me not to use red links in Wikipedia when I was expanding the conception of Kenshin.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:46, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
According to WP:RED, sometimes it's good to link non-existent pages that may be created in the future. I wasn't specific at the time but Matsubayabshi Henyasai or Matsubayashi Henyasai do not link anywhere. The three I mentioned above do have incoming boundaries. Understandable? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

I have the kanji you asked for. [1] --erachima talk 02:57, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

I think I have more or less finished with the in-universe info (tell me if I forgot sth). I will be adding the refs later.--Tintor2 (talk) 18:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Seshommaru could I make you a request? could you make the copy-edit request of Himura Kenshin? I dont remember how the to make it. Thanks.--Tintor2 (talk) 18:29, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Thought User:Lazulilasher was taking care of it. Also what needs copy-editing in the first place? Looks fine to me. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:41, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
It does not say anything of Kenshin. He only highly recommended to make the copy-edit request.--Tintor2 (talk) 18:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
What was to become of the Battosai and Sakabato redirects? Should they target Kenshin's page? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:34, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Collectian made that change, ask her.--Tintor2 (talk) 23:17, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Sesshomaru, I think I finished with the article.I have no idea if it lacks sth or a source, could you tell if it lacks sth?--Tintor2 (talk) 15:37, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Have you noticed this question?--Tintor2 (talk) 00:23, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry. Been too busy this week to check everything on my watchlist. Now that I got here, I will perform the change to "Sano" per what I said above. First, let me ask Collectonian about the redirects. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 14:44, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Been wanting to ask about this inclusion. Does the citation actually say "Sasuke is a name used by most ninja" or did you come to that conclusion? If the latter, it should be removed per violating WP:SYN. Does this make sense? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:37, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Im pretty sure Sasuke is a named used commonly by ninja. However, Watsuki actually does not say that so I deleted it. And about my question?--Tintor2 (talk) 16:59, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Looks good. Was there something specific you wanted? And what is "sth"? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:31, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
"Sth"=something. My doubts are the length of the article, if it lacks something, etc.--Tintor2 (talk) 23:35, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
I don't see anything amiss. Should I nominate it for WP:GAC? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:40, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Nominated, I hope its okay.Tintor2 (talk) 14:59, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the barnstar and all. For the record I removed that line, "In the manga, a romantic relationship between the two is never explicited, while in the anime it is hinted several times." from Sano's article because it looked too much like WP:OR. Does Watsuki shed light on this or something? Also, did you not see my response at the very bottom here? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:09, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
In the manga, Watsuki only make some comments about that in the secrets of the creation of Megumi but in the in-universe manga it is never stated, however in the anime their relationship is hinted lots of times. About Sojiro, I have been loking for reception, but I couldnt get anything. I think it would be better to find reception before adding refs, just see what happened with the Pokemon articles.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:15, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
I couldn't find anything for Sōjirō either. There a reason you're ignoring my query? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:23, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Have you read my reply from above? Always when I work in a character article I look for out-of-universe info first, once I find reception I ll reference it.--Tintor2 (talk) 01:31, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh, now I get what you're saying. Sorry for the misunderstanding there. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:35, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
No prob pal^_^Tintor2 (talk) 01:38, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
I was thinking, since everyone in Rurouni Kenshin uses a sword wouldn't Category:Fictional Japanese swordsmen be better off in Category:Rurouni Kenshin characters? Though I'm not sure about Sano, was he a samurai or swordsman when he was part of the Shinsengumi? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:04, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, almost everybody. Misao, Tomoe and some bad guys dont use swords. Sanosuke was never part of the Shinsengumi, he is based in a character from the shinsengumi.--Tintor2 (talk) 16:40, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Oh. What group was he with when he was younger? And what was he exactly? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:45, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
SekihotaiTintor2 (talk) 16:46, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up. Would the inclusion of Category:Anime and manga martial artists and Category:Fictional Japanese swordsmen be ok for Sano's page? A martial artist we sort of know he is, and he is seen with a sword early in the series. But I would also like to know what position he was in the Sekihotai (a samurai or swordsman, or both?). Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:59, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Martial artists:Yes definitly. Swordmen:I would call it tangent due to its notability.--Tintor2 (talk) 17:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
I shall categorize him as such. Actually, if Sano was a Sekihotai member, he would had to have been at least a swordsman. That about right? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:05, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
He had a sword, but in the series he does not use a sword too much. I would say thats the problem same flying category with Pegasus Seiya-Tintor2 (talk) 22:08, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
You're right. If his swordsman past wasn't touched upon then it would be of little iportance. Thanks man. I shall now add the martial arts cat. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:16, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Tintor, which move is faster: the Kuzu-ryūsen or Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki? Kenshin's page doesn't confirm it. Either that or I'm reading it wrong. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:51, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
The second one, Amakakeru Ryū no Hirameki.--Tintor2 (talk) 22:57, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Article improvements

I'm sure Gaara can make it to GA, er, again. Fixing the problems brought up by the reviewer and undoing the changes that led to its failure has been on my list of things to do for a while. Shikamaru is also on my list of things to do, and hopefully I'll stop being lazy and add conception information for him in the near future. ~SnapperTo 23:43, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Thank you Tintor. If I had a user page I'd put it on display. Thus, I shall add it to my theoretical user page. Thank you again! ~SnapperTo 18:16, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Kishimoto interview

I know of no additional interviews - you could check the fansite and ask it where the interview came from. I highly doubt that a fansite could get its own interview with Kishimoto. Usually an interview itself would be considered a primary source, but one would have to know if it is really Kishimoto speaking. WhisperToMe (talk) 23:42, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

  • E-mail the site admin and he or she should tell you which issue. I have a bunch of SJs but I don't know where to begin looking. WhisperToMe (talk) 23:47, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your last message

Hello, yes, I would be glad to help with that, I just have to gather some reference material. I will investigate about Kappa magazine then I will send the info to you. Cheers.

[edit] Kenshin dies how many times?

According to this it's two, but I thought it was some anime special, not the manga. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:54, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Reverted, that was an OVA--Tintor2 (talk) 21:39, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
About that, does the source specify that it was a tatoo? It might be good clarifying this. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:09, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
The image shows it as a tattoo. Should I upload it?Tintor2 (talk) 00:04, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Sure, that'd be great. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Done--Tintor2 (talk) 16:11, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm thinking about getting an image for the Futae no Kiwami (the term should actually be italisised or something but I'll get to that later). What do you have in mind? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:17, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Do you have one image? It looks like a normal punch in the fighting scenes, maybe it would be better the one that shows the stances of the hand.--Tintor2 (talk) 16:19, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
I know. Still can't find a pic where it shows the shock wave from the punch. Well Googling images ain't helping me. You? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:35, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
I have one that shows the stances of the hand. Although the hand is from anji it really doesnt matter since it only shows the hand (manga image). Do you think its ok?--Tintor2 (talk) 16:37, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Not sure if a stance will be any good, but I guess it's better than nothing. Though you don't have an anime image of the attack's destructiveness? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:40, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Nope, but I have one lots of that from the manga.--Tintor2 (talk) 16:41, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Go ahead and upload the best pic you have. I'd prefer Sano but if Anji's the best one then go with that. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:45, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Do you mean the stances?--Tintor2 (talk) 16:48, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Really wanted the aftermath, in other words, the result of the blow. Remember when Sano mastered the technique? I think he was able to turn stone (or a large part of a tree) into dust in a single attack. That's what I was thinking. Make sense? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
You're not still confused are you? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
I still can t decide the image, do you know a good moment?--Tintor2 (talk) 00:26, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
May I suggest the match between Anji and Sano? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:28, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
I dont see a big rock or anything destroyed there, wasnt the image supposed to show the attack's destructiveness?--Tintor2 (talk) 00:29, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
You mean there wasn't any collateral damage during that fight? Maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:40, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

I mean that in the scenes of the fight we could see the Futae no Kiwami, it could be seen as a normal fist since he is not destroying anything in particular like a rock or something.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:45, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, guess I'll leave it in your hands. How long will it take you to decide? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:48, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for the confusion! I ll decide soon^_^--Tintor2 (talk) 00:51, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Something like [this]? Delete the link after seeing.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:57, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
That's a pretty good one. Too bad we couldn't get a colorful image (you want me to delete it?). Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:04, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
I deleted it per copyvio. As far as I know Watsuki never drew a color image of the attack and I cant find one of the anime. Want me to cut that manga image and upload it?--Tintor2 (talk) 01:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
By all means. Better one than none I always say ;) Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 01:24, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
What do you think about this edit? Are the standard sizes too big, too small? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 02:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
I think its ok.--Tintor2 (talk) 11:09, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll do the same to Himura Kenshin. One quick thing, is it possible to get citations for Kenshin verifying his super speed and reflexes? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

All the chapter 1 already says it.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:19, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

That ok? I was also wondering if we should cite that he can read the emotions of his opponents. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:58, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
That of the emotions of the opponent is the chi (or ki). I dont understand it very well but Kenshin can read the emotions (chi) of the opponent to predict their next moves. I do not see it necessary.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:17, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] List of YuYu Hakusho chapters

Hey Tintor, is this on your watchlist? Some anonymous user added ISBN information and was wondering if you noted it (YuYu Hakusho itself needs a revamp). Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 03:40, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

I removed it from my watchlist a while ago, however it seems Snapper fixed it.Tintor2 (talk) 15:37, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
After you finish up with the Reborn! chapters list, think you can help me get conception and other data for YuYu Hakusho? Perhaps we can work together to make the page a good article. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 16:13, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
I guess I could give a hand^_^ Conception may be hard, but I ll see what I find.--Tintor2 (talk) 20:18, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
What should I look for? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 20:30, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
I think conception is the most important, we can use info of the anime episodes of YYH to add to anime, we should also remove two or three characters to delete the plot tag, maybe that discussion could be taken to the talk page. Thougths?--Tintor2 (talk) 23:54, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
I say we list the main characters who actually have articles (Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, and Genkai). The others will have to go. Using references from List of YuYu Hakusho episodes is a good idea. What discussion are you referring to? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:01, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Wait, forget it. Lets leave Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, and Genkai in the main.--Tintor2 (talk) 00:03, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Just curious, why did you take off the anime award statement? The Animage article itself does say YuYu Hakusho won two awards. Thoughts? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:15, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
No idea how to source it (how can we source that?)... I think that may be more suitable to reception.Tintor2 (talk) 00:17, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
BTW, you're aware of this right? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 00:55, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Im very busy todayTintor2 (talk) 11:28, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fullmetal Alchemist in Newtype USA

Do you happen to have the title of the article for the Newtype USA reference following the following statement in the lead: "The world of Fullmetal Alchemist is based on the countries of Europe during the Industrial Revolution period as well as several experiences from the author's life"? If so, please add it to the citation. TangentCube, Dialogues 06:51, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re:Barnstar

Many thanks. Yeah, that FT is probably a long shot, but we can try towards it. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 01:14, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your GA nomination of Sagara Sanosuke

The article Sagara Sanosuke you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold. It hasn't failed because it's basically a good article, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Sagara Sanosuke for things needed to be addressed. Finalnight (talk) 02:18, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Guess using "Sano" over "Sanosuke" was a bad idea. What are your thoughts Tintor? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 04:44, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
It had to be this day? today I have to study for a hard test so I will be busy today, Some thoughts, yes change "Sano" to "Sanosuke".--Tintor2 (talk) 16:29, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
I made some changes, could you see the problems of the trivia, since Im leaving? Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 16:57, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
What do you mean "problems of the trivia"? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 21:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
.Already solved, (see the talk page of the article). Now the main problem is the prose. (my "Wikipedia weak point").Tintor2 (talk) 21:32, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Peer review

If you have the time, comments at the peer review for List of Naruto characters would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 05:40, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Itachi draft

i read your draft for itachi. It's good generally aside from a few repetition of sentences. In this case what more do we need to make it acceptable?? --Fotte (talk) 14:39, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Busy still?

What else do you plan to do before we get to changing Kuririn into a good article? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 17:10, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

I still have the Kenshin character articles and Sano still needs that grammmar clean up.--Tintor2 (talk) 17:59, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Anything I can do? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:31, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
About what?--Tintor2 (talk) 18:33, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
To assist you of course. For instance do you need any conception or reception sources? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits)
Conception seems to be the hardest to get, I would prefer not to use any fansite--Tintor2 (talk) 19:19, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, you let me know if you need anything ok? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:26, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

I have longed planned to create List of Dragon Ball chapters, just never had the right motive. Go for it! Let us work on that, though I'll be making the major tweaks as usual ;) Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:27, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I will be making the list here. Feel free to help. It will take a long timeTintor2 (talk) 00:42, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Im leaving for today. Feel free to make add anything. About the chapters, I have spanish volumes, not the Viz Media, so I think I leave this to you or other editor. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 01:04, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I have all of the Dragon Ball-related manga by Viz so I'll be more than happy to help you on your draft. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 07:46, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Thw viz edition uses different number of volumes dividing the common dragon ball and z. Should I make a subsection called "Dragon Ball Z chapters"? What do you think?Tintor2 (talk) 15:40, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
That's a good question. I don't really have a smart answer, so I'll just say number them as Viz released them. First, did you ask anyone from WP:MANGA? Someone there has probably gotten into a related situation before. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 19:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Finished. I ll add the other refs later, Im a bit tired.Tintor2 (talk) 22:21, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello?--Tintor2 (talk) 23:49, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I couldn't get to work on that yet, but I did reference the list here. Let me see if I can finally get through my watchlist and lend a hand. K? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 23:54, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Think you could ask Collectonian or someone else to give you a hand on the Dragon Ball chapters‎? I don't know when I'll have that spare time soon. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 22:01, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I left a message in the wikiproject talk.--Tintor2 (talk) 22:59, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Finally

Hey there I see you have been busy with the Fullmetal articles. Sorry for not contacting in you for a while about the Edward Elric article I had exams and personal stuff came up. However do you want to work on the Edward Elric article together? Or have you abandoned it? I would like to hear from you as soon as possible LOTRrules (talk) 18:38, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] *hugs*

Don't let the Sano GA fail get you too down. Once its copyedited, can just retry :) -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 02:31, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Do you guys think this wording makes more sense? I kinda prefer Tintor's but I need another opinion or two. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 06:10, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
I kind of agree with the change to "fight merchant", since that's what the series uses. I don't particularly agree with the rest of the changes, but the original seems to be missing something: "in Tokyo in order and soon" (in order to what?). -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:14, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Guess "fight merchant" can do. Would you suggest a partial revert? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 06:23, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
I think that would work. Fight merchant is a little more accurate, since he does both "sell" and "buy" fights ;) -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 06:36, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Actually, the current version will do for now. Or did you have a better phrasing in mind? Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 06:47, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
I could probably come up with one, after sleeping. Trying to remember what the "in order" should have been. Know it had something to do with his past, but can't remember how he put it. May need to check my volumes. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 07:10, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Naruto

?. The news is true... -.- MyNaruto is the official italian website of Panini Comics/Panini Video, distributor of the series in Italy (manga & anime). Italia 1 is the broadcaster of the series. The corresponding articles on it.wikipedia have been updated, I do not see why not bring back the update on en.wiki. Even the Philippine broadcaster not given even the sources ... Let me explain, thanks. --DarkAp89 (talk) 15:30, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Automail

Hi there! I'd like to note to you that I reverted the redirect you made from Automail to Fullmetal Alchemist. While I of course assume good faith in your edit, I feel that rather than scrapping the entire article, it would be a better idea to expand on how Automail compares with real-world prosthetics, and real-world applications of cybernetic enhancements. This would give said article not only more depth, but also wouldn't wash away hard work. I will do some more research on prosthetics and cybernetics and see what I can come up with! Feel free to contact me at my Talk Page at any time. Cheers! ~ PHDrillSergeant...§ 04:31, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Comparisons between automail and modern prosthetics would not be original research if third-party sources could be found comparing them, something I'm right now researching. Just keep an eye out, I'll work on it when I can. Cheers! ~ PHDrillSergeant...§ 21:27, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Titles

I'm not sure. Viz's website seems to indicate that "The Monkey King" is the title of volume 1, but that doesn't appear on the title page of the volume I own. Since your copy has titles I'd imagine they just chose not to include them in my volume for some reason, and that what is on the website is accurate. ~SnapperTo 01:35, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
